Welcome to Solio Analytics AS! These Terms of Service govern your use of our services, including our Fantasy Premier League (FPL) optimisation tools, solvers, and analytics platform, collectively referred to as the "Service". By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

We have kept these Terms as clear and straightforward as possible while ensuring all necessary legal protections are in place. If you use Solio Analytics AS in good faith and follow common sense behaviour, you should have no issues. For full details, please read the Terms below.

1. Introduction

  • Company Name: Solio Analytics AS
  • Service: A planner and decision support tool for Fantasy Premier League (FPL) players, including future projections and optimisation capabilities. Paid tiers with advanced features are available for active subscribers.
  • Users: These Terms apply to individual users only.

2. User Accounts

  • Users under the age of 18 should only use Solio Analytics AS with parental supervision. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet the minimum age requirements of your jurisdiction.
  • Accounts must be created via Google login.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • Users are responsible for ensuring their use of Solio Analytics AS complies with the laws of their jurisdiction. Solio Analytics AS is not liable for access restrictions imposed by local governments or for users who bypass such restrictions using VPNs or proxies.

Prohibited Activities:

  • Creating or using multiple accounts for one individual.
  • Sharing accounts with others.
  • Using fraudulent, fake, or disposable email addresses to create accounts.
  • Circumventing Solio Analytics AS security features or access restrictions in an unauthorised manner, such as using automated bots or scraping data.

3. Free & Paid Subscriptions

  • Solio Analytics AS offers both free and paid subscription plans. Local VAT and taxes may apply. The specific features and access available under each plan are described on our website and may change from time to time.
  • Subscription plans may include differences in access to prediction tools, edit capabilities, analytics, reports, and community content. Some plans may include early access to new features, premium support, or additional insights.
  • We reserve the right to update subscription pricing, plan names, and included features. If you are subscribed to a paid plan, you will be notified of material changes that may affect your access or billing. Continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated offering.
  • All payments are securely processed through Stripe. Solio Analytics AS does not store your full payment details but may retain billing metadata for operational purposes. You gain access to premium features once payment is confirmed. We do not store your full payment details, but we may receive billing related metadata such as your subscription tier or transaction status.

Billing & Subscription Terms

  • Subscription Management: Users can choose between different subscription plans and feature based packages via the Solio Analytics website.
  • Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled in advance. You must cancel before the renewal date to avoid charges for the next period.
  • Access After Cancellation: If you cancel a subscription, you will retain access to the premium features until the end of the current billing cycle.

Refunds

  • Standard Refund Policy: Solio Analytics AS does not offer refunds for partially used billing cycles or unused time. All payments are subject to Stripe’s transaction and refund policies.
  • Cooling Off Period: In accordance with consumer law, the 14 day cooling off period does not apply once digital services have been accessed. By subscribing, you agree to waive your right to withdraw after gaining access to the service.
  • Exceptional Cases: We may consider refund requests in exceptional situations at our discretion. To request a refund, contact info@solioanalytics.com.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

Permitted Use

  • Users may use Solio Analytics AS for personal, non-commercial purposes.
  • Users are encouraged to share their teams, plans, and insights publicly via social media or other platforms, including using Solio Analytics AS built-in sharing tools or screenshots.

Prohibited Use

Users may not:

  • Violate laws: Use Solio Analytics AS in a way that breaches local, national, or international regulations.
  • Automate or extract data: Use bots, scraping tools, or scripts to access, extract, or interact with Solio Analytics AS data.
  • Tamper with the platform: Reverse-engineer, modify, copy, or disrupt Solio Analytics AS software, algorithms, or services. Manipulate analytics features, game mechanics, or community statistics in a deceptive or abusive manner, such as artificially spamming Solve actions or submitting nonsense data to influence trends.
  • Exploit pricing or regional access: Manipulate subscription costs or location settings through unauthorised means.
  • Engage in misconduct: Harass, abuse, threaten, or impersonate other users or Solio Analytics AS staff.
  • Fraudulently obtain services: Provide false information, misrepresent identity, or exploit free tier benefits.
  • Create multiple accounts: Use duplicate accounts to gain unfair access to free features or promotions.
  • Train artificial intelligence: Use any data, content, statistics, projections, or performance metrics from the Service to train, test, support, or maintain any machine learning, artificial intelligence (AI), or generative AI models, software, or algorithms.
  • Replicate core functionality: Share or republish large sections of the platform, detailed statistical databases, or premium content in a way that substitutes for using Solio Analytics AS. While posting individual team plans or unique curated Solio projections is permitted, users are strictly prohibited from redistributing, republishing, or displaying raw or aggregated third party statistical metrics in bulk.

Enforcement & Consequences

  • Solio Analytics AS reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
  • Any attempts to bypass security measures, exploit system vulnerabilities, or manipulate access restrictions may result in permanent account termination and legal action where applicable.

5. Intellectual Property

Ownership of Solio Analytics AS Content

All content, custom analytics, visualisations, projections, software, and other materials developed by Solio Analytics AS are the exclusive property of Solio Analytics AS. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Solio Analytics AS tools and generated outputs for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Users may not modify, reproduce, distribute, resell, or create derivative works based on our proprietary content, unless explicitly authorised in writing by Solio Analytics AS.

Third Party Proprietary Data

Portions of the data, statistics, and performance metrics available on the Service (including advanced metrics like expected goals, expected assists, big chances, and defensive contributions) are proprietary to and licensed from third party data providers, including Stats Perform (Opta). All rights in such proprietary third party data are reserved by their respective owners. Users acquire no ownership rights in such data. Any unauthorised extraction, scraping, or reproduction of these metrics is strictly prohibited and constitutes a material breach of these Terms.

User Submissions & Feedback

Users may voluntarily submit ideas, suggestions, feedback, or other content related to Solio Analytics AS. By submitting any content, users acknowledge and agree that the submission is non-confidential, provided voluntarily, and that Solio Analytics AS is free to use, develop, modify, or implement similar ideas without obligation to compensate the user. The user retains no rights over submitted ideas.

By using Solio Analytics AS, you agree that anonymised insights derived from user interactions (such as the most edited players or peak solve times) may be used in our public content or communication, provided no individual user is identified without their explicit permission.

Sharing of Content

Users may publicly share their own FPL teams, strategies, and unique curated Solio projections, including using Solio Analytics AS built-in sharing tools or screenshots. Redistribution of large portions of Solio Analytics AS data, third party metrics, or premium content in a way that substitutes for using the platform is strictly prohibited, except where explicitly permitted under a separate written agreement with Solio Analytics AS.

6. Data Collection & Privacy

  • Overview: Solio Analytics AS collects and processes certain types of user data as outlined in our Privacy Policy. By using our Service, you agree to our collection, storage, and processing of data in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
  • What Data We Collect: We collect account information, technical data (such as IP addresses and device types), and user activity such as tool usage, planning activity, and interactions with features. We may also collect data related to new or experimental features to assess engagement and improve the platform.
  • How We Use Data: We use this data to operate and improve the platform, inform feature development, analyse community trends, and generate anonymised insights.
  • User Rights & Control: Users can request access, correction, or deletion of their data at any time by emailing info@solioanalytics.com.
  • Third Party Data Processing: We use Stripe for subscription billing, and third-party tools for analytics, hosting, and error tracking. These providers process limited data in accordance with their own privacy terms.
  • Data Security & Retention: We retain data only as long as needed for operations, legal obligations, or product improvement.

7. Disclaimers & Liability Limitations

  • Informational Use Only: Solio Analytics AS provides analytics, projections, and optimisation tools for informational and entertainment purposes only. Decisions made based on the Service’s recommendations are at the user’s own risk.
  • No Guarantee of Accuracy or Results: Solio Analytics AS makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of data, projections, or recommendations. Data sources, licensing agreements, and methodologies may change without notice, and past performance does not guarantee future outcomes.
  • No Financial or Professional Advice: Solio Analytics AS does not provide financial, investment, or gambling advice.
  • Third Party Services & External Platforms: Solio Analytics AS is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially licensed by Fantasy Premier League (FPL), the Premier League, or Football DataCo. The platform utilises licensed and public data feeds and does not claim rights over proprietary data owned by non-affiliated third parties. Users are solely responsible for ensuring their use of Solio Analytics AS complies with FPL’s official rules and policies.
  • Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, Solio Analytics AS shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to the use of the Service, including loss of FPL prize money, financial losses, or reputational harm.
  • No Warranty on Service Availability: Solio Analytics AS does not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free functionality, or continuous availability of the Service.

8. Account Suspension & Termination

  • Solio Analytics AS reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account at any time if a user violates these Terms of Service. Immediate termination without notice may occur in cases of fraud, abuse, security threats, or severe policy violations.
  • Users who believe their account was suspended or terminated in error may appeal by contacting info@solioanalytics.com within 7 days of suspension.
  • Upon account termination, Solio Analytics AS may retain certain account data for compliance, security, and operational purposes, as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
  • No refunds will be issued for suspended or terminated accounts, except where required by law.

9. Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict of law principles.
  • Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Oslo, Norway (Oslo District Court / Oslo tingrett).
  • Before taking legal action, parties agree to first attempt to resolve disputes through good faith negotiation or mediation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Oslo, Norway, under the rules of the Norwegian Arbitration Act (voldgiftsloven), with each party bearing its own costs.
  • Users agree that disputes must be pursued individually and may not be brought as part of a class action lawsuit or similar collective claim.

10. Changes to These Terms

  • Solio Analytics AS may update these Terms at any time.
  • If a material change affects users' rights or obligations, we will notify users via email or a notice on our website.
  • Updates to these Terms take effect immediately upon publication.
  • If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using Solio Analytics AS immediately. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
